Why I Love Billydoe Meats

Billydoe Meats is one of the best sources I've found for lamb, goat, and veal. They have an amazing variety of cuts and organs (they even sell brain and sweetbreads)! All of their meats are un-aged and low histamine friendly—which can make a huge difference for those healing from chronic illness.

 

My personal favorites are their lamb bacon and beef brisket. Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to many other lamb vendors. Keep in mind that their lamb and beef are not 100% grass-finished (at least to my knowledge). They are still raised with care on family farms, but they do finish with grain. For most people, this isn't a problem but I do know its important to some people to be 100% grass-finished for ruminant meats.
