If you've ever searched the grocery store looking for corn tortilla chips that aren't made with seed oils (canola oil, vegetable oil, etc) you'll know how difficult they are to find.

My family was very excited to find Gilly Loco chips a few years back, as many of us have been avoiding seed oils for a while now. The chips only have non-gmo corn, water, lime, coconut oil, and sea salt as ingredients.

Gilly Loco chips have a great flavor and crunch! I wouldn't say you can taste much "coconut" in them, they taste like normal tortilla chips (without the gross after taste that canola oil gives). What's great about chips that are made with real fat is that they're actually filling. It's much easier not to over indulge.

Personally I'd say I prefer the MASA chips made with beef tallow to the Gilly Loco chips. But these are a close second and a lot cheaper than MASA chips. I trust coconut oil much more than I do avocado oil or olive oil, though I believe animal fats are best.

If you're looking for a delicious, healthier corn tortilla chip that doesn't break the bank, I'd highly recommend trying Gilly Loco!
