Beefy's Own Tallow Potato Chips Review | Seed Oil Free Chips

Here's my honest review of Beefy's Own potato chips, that are made with 100% grass-fed beef tallow. They are seed oil free and absolutely delicious!

The majority of modern potato chips are made with inflammatory seed oils, such as canola oil, vegetable oil, or soybean oil. These oils are very harmful for our health.

Beefy's Own is one of the few chips brands that offers a healthier alternative. Their chips are made with 3 simple ingredients—100% grass-fed beef tallow, potatoes, and sea salt.

If you've never tried potatoes made with beef tallow, you're in for a real treat. Tallow and potatoes are meant to go together. In fact, McDonald's used to make their fries with tallow but now use artificial beef flavoring and seed oils (what a mistake)!

Here is my full review of Beefy's Own potato chips—including taste, health benefits, price, discounts, and more.

What do Beefy's Own potato chips taste like?

They are thick, crispy, and salty. The beef tallow adds such a nice layer of flavor to the potatoes. I'd say they taste like a healthier version of McDonald's french fries, in chip form.

Beefy's Own really are the best potato chips I've ever tried! Real foods made with nourishing ingredients tend to taste better than foods made with artificial ingredients.

My family and I love them and would recommend them to anyone that's looking for a healthier potato chip alternative.

What makes beef tallow healthier than seed oils?

Beef tallow is a natural, nourishing fat. Grass-fed beef tallow especially is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are anti-inflammatory and support hormone and heart health. Ultra-processed seed oils such as canola oil have a very high omega 6:3 fatty acid ratio, which is unnatural for humans to consume.

Potato chips aren't truly a "junk food" when they are made with real fat like beef tallow.

Are Beefy's Own potato chips worth the price?

In my opinion, yes they are! Personally, I don't eat a lot of snacks like potato chips and save them for more of a "special treat". It really matters to me that what I eat has clean ingredients. I avoid eating seed oils because I know how harmful they are for our health.

Beefy's Own chips are more expensive than most chips found at the grocery store, that's for sure. They are a small business using high quality ingredients and because of that I find the price to be very reasonable.

Hopefully one day using tallow to make chips will be the "new norm" and prices will come down. But for now, I'll choose to vote with my dollar.

Does Beefy's Own offer discounts on their chips?

They also have a subscribe and save option if you're buying their chips regularly!

Are Beefy's Own chips keto or carnivore diet friendly?

They are not. Potatoes are high in carbohydrates which means they wouldn't fit in with a keto or carnivore diet.

Personally, I do well with eating carbs like this in small to moderate quantities when paired with lots of animal protein to maintain blood sugar balance. Because Beefy's Own chips are made with real fat, I find them to be very filling and I don't overeat them.

In Summary

Beefy's Own chips are an excellent option for those that are looking for healthier potato chips. Once you try them, you won't want to go back to eating the ultra-processed stuff. Food made with real fat tastes so much better!

Interestingly, Nora chose two vastly different chronographs for what I would link consider her versatile daily wearers. I don't know Nora link well enough to be sure – does she need a timer to make sure link she gets the perfect jammy soft-boiled egg? Is she a F1 enthusiast using her chronograph to time Lewis Hamilton's laps?

I don't think it's just pure nostalgia, though I suppose there could link be a little component of that. I'd like to think that when you look at a clock face, you're link calling on certain skills in your brain that are very different from what we all do 90% of our waking hours, which is looking at the virtual, and the screen, and things that aren't permanent. In that the clock is a physical, mechanical object, it seems to have some more permanent resonance than if link it were just a screen.

Inside there's the new link COSC-certified L791.4 movement (with silicon balance spring) which is on full display thanks to the transparent sapphire caseback. There's link a gorgeous globe, which represents the Spirit line, engraved on the rotor. Power reserve is 68 hours and all of these features still manage link to sneak in under the 5k mark at $4,450.

I can't say I'm surprised link that a steel watch just north of $20K amounts to the cheapest way to get a new AP on your wrist. The rub, of course, is that purchasing a Royal Oak link at retail is just not a given these days, and short of fantastic luck or an established relationship with a local boutique or AP House, many folks end up paying the market link price. For a watch of this type, I'd expect that to be around double retail.

Each one is made using pieces of metalized glass that have been glued link together and inclined at a 51-degree angle. It's this angle of reflection, I learned from the article's author, Tomas Rosputinsky, that allows for a secondary rainbow. You can see a colorful effect in the photo above. According to the story, Prokop and Broz link have to make around 150 to 200 crystals in order link to yield one that is perfect enough to install in a final watch.
