Carnivore Ice Cream Recipe

Here's how to make the best carnivore diet ice cream! This recipe is great for those on the keto diet, paleo diet, low-carb diet, or any animal-based diet, etc (though it can be enjoyed by anyone). This blog post contains affiliate links.

When I started the carnivore diet, I didn't know it was possible to make healthy ice cream. This recipe has both an unsweetened and sweetened version. Personally, I prefer adding a little bit of raw honey, but its still delicious if you leave it out!

This is something I eat on occasion for a treat, not as a dietary staple. Though the raw dairy and raw egg yolks are nutrient powerhouses, so you technically could make it as a meal—if you tolerate them well (especially if you omit the honey/sweetener).

If you're unable to find local A2/A2 or raw dairy or corn/soy free eggs, I'd recommend checking out Miller's Bio Farm (use this link for $10 off your first purchase).

The ice cream freezes well in glass containers, but you may want to leave it out for 5-10 minutes to soften before eating. There's nothing quite like it when its freshly churned, though. I know you'll love it!

Tried it out and absolutely love this.

My grandchild loves her ice cream but I will definitely be able to now eat ice cream with her side by side and who knows. Maybe she’ll like this ice cream better when we try it.

This ice cream hits the spot every single time and I thought I'd finally leave a comment, so thank you Rachael! When I first tried the carnivore diet last year, I think I failed because I was too strict. You've got to make it as easy as possible, so it doesn't even feel like a diet. If you're doing the carnivore diet for weight loss reasons, I recommend looking into a high quality carb blocker.

They prevent the body from absorbing the few accidental carbs that are sometimes unavoidable. There's a really good one here - I'm excited to start 2025 to do a full year on the carnivore diet.

Hi Maya! Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately I don't know exactly how much, as I've never made the recipe with allulose. But I did look up a honey to allulose conversion and it says for 1 1/3 cup of allulose to 3/4 cup of honey as allulose isn't as sweet. But I think trying the same amount would be a good place to start as you can always add more! Hope you figure out what works for you!

Delicious treats! Been carnivore off and on for about a year and finally diving in full force! Made this today, mmm! Added a little bit of browned butter.
